Children's Creative Corner offers full-day and half-day programs for 4 year old children. In addition, a 2 1/2 hour preschool-only program is available from September through May.
The 4 year olds are very busy learning the alphabet one letter at a time. Each week, beginning with "Aa," the children learn all about the sound the letter makes, the upper and lower case forms of the letter, and create class and individual letter books. Math skills are also enhanced with learning the numbers 0-10 and by creating individual number books. The children also choose activites from different learning centers in the classroom including science, computers and dramatic play, as well as art and music activities, circle time, fields trips and holiday programs.
