Since there is such a vast developmental difference between the young and the older 2 year old, Children's Creative Corner provides two classrooms for 2 year old children.
24 - 30 months
The younger 2's enjoy a curriculum based on themes of the week. They explore colors, their five senses, All About Me, Dr. Seuss, and other fun and interesting themes through carefully planned activities. We also focus on encouraging language development through stories and songs, and fine-tuning their gross and fine motor skills.
30 - 36 months
The older 2's enjoy daily circle times and a variety of activities based on their themes of the week, which include shapes, colors, transportation, Old MacDonald's Farm, and Holidays Around the World. An important accomplishment for the older 2's is learning self-help skills including toilet training, dressing themselves and developing self-confidence and a positive self-image.
